Some of you saw my new haircut a few weeks ago on Instagram… I’m showing it on the blog at last !

It was in the Massato salon, just near the Luxembourg, a really beautiful place in Paris. The interior is minimalist and comfy, there are quite few seats, you feel privileged to be there.

I didn’t want a big change and it was a good thing, because my hair don’t offer many possibilities. It just doesn’t have that cool, wavy thickness that makes for an edgy, messy short cut. No, it is smooth, pretty when long, but quite unremarkable when cut short. So the hairdresser just added a few thin, delicate strands playing peekaboo on my forehead. I think it is very subtle and appropriate for my hair and face.

At Massato, no Hollywood-star-brushing, no big curls, no fuss. They make the natural hair look its best, drying it in the simplest way and giving it the right move for its natural shape. They listen, too. When I asked what their specialty was, they talked about relooking. Many people trust them for this. I was intrigued and asked what they thought would look good on me. The hairdresser tried many positions for my hair, asked questions, and finally indicated a specific length, chosen according to my face. Maybe one day, I will try !

    Ah enfin!!! :D
    ca te va très bien!!! Tout comme toi j’étais partie pour un changement radical, finalement je me suis dégonflée, j’ai expliqué 3h que je voulais couper 4 cm, ni 3, ni 5, et mon coiffeur adoré a encore une fois coupé plus de 10 cm! je suis repartie les nerfs en pelotte! et avec un shampoing qu’il m’a gentiment forcé à prendre! Pour cheveux secs!!! alors qu’ils ne le sont pas et qui me fait les cheveux électriques! Donc je pleure un peu! j’ai hâte de retrouver ma bonne vieille longueur! car là il a tout dégradé et ce n’est pas moi, je n’arrive pas à les coiffer!
    Dessange est moi c’est fini! J’irai à Paris!!! J’y monte bien toutes les 3 semaines donc je peux aller là bas après tout!

      Ahh mais ce serait généralisé chez Dessange alors ?
      Avant Massato, ça faisait 5 ans que je n’avais pas mis les pieds chez un coiffeur suite à un immonde ratage chez Dessange. J’étais arrivée avec les cheveux très roux (l’été ils roussissent) et j’avais demandé qu’on atténue ça… On m’a mis une teinture brun foncé / noir. Furieuse, j’ai demandé à récupérer quelque chose de plus proche de mon châtain. On m’a alors fait un balayage qui a posé trop longtemps… Je me suis retrouvée avec des mèches blond presque platine, sur cheveux presque noirs. J’étais furieuse, je ne voulais pas payer, mais j’étais très jeune (j’avais 18 ans) et je me suis laissé faire (180€ la blague). Dessange 7ème arrondissement en plus… Fini à tout jamais :)
